Ingredients
  

  • 350 g Gorgonzola Cheese sweet if possible
  • 250 ml Heavy Cream or Italian Panna
  • 1000 g Gnocchi or 400g Pasta (Penne Rigate, Spaghetti etc.)
  • Salt
  • Pepper Back or Red

Instructions
 

  • To prepare the gorgonzola pasta, first bring a pot of lightly salted water to the boil to cook the pasta. In the meantime, remove the rind from the Gorgonzola cheese and cut it into cubes.
  • Pour the milk into a large pan
  • Add the Gorgonzola cheese cubes
  • Turn on the heat and melt the cheese over a low flame for about ten minutes
  • Stir often and season with pepper
  • In the meantime, cook the pasta in the boiling water
  • Drain the pasta al dente and transfer it directly to the pan
  • Stir over very low heat for 1-2 minutes, using a little cooking water to amalgamate the sauce with the pasta
  • Stir everything well and serve your pasta with gorgonzola immediately!

Notes

For a more healthy variation, and the ultimate High Protein Gorgonzola Sauce:
Replace the heavy cream with ricotta cheese! :)
